Jämi Jämi! Fly-in 2007 (Part II)

In which Jarn jumps out of bed at the sound of pistons, heading for
some breakfast, grabs his camera, and makes for the runway!

They were coming in from all the country, and beyond. One of the most illustrious visitors, G-EXEA, came all the way from England! It’s a compact, sleek, and elegant Extra 300L which performed some incredible stunts to the crowds’ delight. Another awesome machine was the JT-5 Autogyro, a personal helicopter of Finnish design, which reminds powerfully of Bond’s Little Nelly in You Only Live Twice. Special attention during the whole day got the Helsinki based Diamond Twin Star, a most gorgeous aircraft which I get to see often at my local airport, Malmi Lentokenttä (EFHF). Traffic was so thick there was little separation between aircraft, and go-arounds were frequent (especially if you owned an Extra :D ).
